This Privacy Policy describes how Keldun (“we,” “us,” or “the App”) handles information when you use the Keldun iOS application. Keldun is a local, offline-first PC build logging and social-style feed experience. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are
Keldun is provided as a consumer iOS application. For privacy questions, contact: support@keldun.app (placeholder).
2. Summary
- Most of your content stays on your device.
- We do not operate a cloud social network that uploads your posts to our servers.
- Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit; we do not receive or store your payment card details.
- On first open of the Build Floor (home), the App may request App Tracking Transparency permission, then Push Notifications permission, using system dialogs only.
3. Information stored on your device
Keldun stores the following categories of data locally on your iPhone (for example via UserDefaults and app documents), including:
- Account session flags and locally generated Quick Login credentials
- Profile information (display name, bio, bay title, optional avatar image file)
- Build Floor posts, comments, likes, tags, and attached media you create
- Parts shelf inventory (categories, part names, notes, photos)
- Chassis / rig configurations and optional part photos
- Following and blocked baymate lists (local seed / social shell data)
- Virtual currency balance (Flux), daily task completion, and streak/calendar marks
- Flags related to onboarding and whether ATT/Push prompts were already shown
This information is used to operate the App on your device. It is not uploaded by Keldun to a proprietary backend for social syncing in the current product design.
4. Facial data
4.1 What we collect
Keldun does not collect biometric faceprints, face templates, Face ID data, or facial geometry for recognition or authentication.
You may optionally capture or select photographs (for example avatar, part photos, or build posts). Those images may incidentally depict a human face if a person appears in the frame. That is ordinary image content, not a biometric identifier created by the App.
4.2 Planned use
Optional photos that may include a face are used only to:
- Display your avatar in profile and related UI
- Show build / part documentation you attach in the App
- Let you review, enlarge, or delete those images inside the App
We do not use facial analysis, emotion detection, identity matching, or advertising based on faces.
4.3 Sharing, disclosure, and storage location
- Images remain in on-device app storage unless you export or share them through iOS system sharesheets or other apps you choose.
- Keldun does not send facial biometric templates to third parties.
- Apple may process payment-related data separately under Apple’s policies when you buy Flux packs; that is not facial data.
4.4 Retention
Photo files and avatar images remain until you delete them in the App, replace them, or use Delete Account, which wipes local Keldun data from the device (including stored media files managed by the App).

This chapter (Section 4, including §§4.1–4.5) is the complete explanation of Keldun’s collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention practices regarding facial data for App Store Guideline 2.1 / 5.1.1 review purposes.
5. Third-party generative models
Keldun does not send user prompts, reference images, or other personal content to a third-party generative model API for analysis or generation. No user data is transmitted to an external generative model provider by the App’s core features.
6. Permissions
The App may request the following iOS permissions when you use related features:

| Push Notifications | System authorization request immediately after the ATT result on first Build Floor visit; there is no in-app “Enable Notifications” button and no custom notification handler beyond the permission request |
Denying a permission limits only the related feature; other features continue to work.
7. In-app purchases and Flux
Keldun offers consumable virtual currency Flux through Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit). Store tiers are shown in price-ascending order (Gift Pack / Treasure Chest titles). Payment is processed by Apple. We do not store credit card numbers. Apple’s terms and refund rules apply to purchases.
8. Account controls
- Quick Login creates or reuses local credentials on device and grants 200 Flux once on first registration.
- Logout ends the session and returns to Login; data remains on device (cold start after logout does not auto-enter home).
- Delete Account permanently removes local Keldun data from the device after confirmation.
9. Analytics and tracking
If you grant tracking permission via ATT, Apple’s tracking framework may be used as described in the system prompt. The App does not sell personal information.
10. Children’s privacy
Keldun is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Data sale
We do not sell your personal information.
12. International users
The App is designed for on-device use. Local laws may also apply where you reside.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy where permitted by law.
